Finally i have plucked up the courage to join a site all about gardening.
My son's display name Barra planted my garden some three years ago and since then i have dealt with the weeds whilst the shrubs become established i believe he has sent some pictures over the last few years as it has taken shape.
he has always been going on about joining so here i am.
i have only started gardening since i retired and could not think of a better pass time when the weather is nice that is.

Welcome Bella. There are very few of us that bite honest, Barra will tell you.

Gardening in the Outer Hebrides must have challenges none of the rest of us have so do share your experiences.

[IMG] Well "Hi" Bella & welcome to GC.... I remember when Barra was getting ready to start your garden & we all had a big discussion about wind break materials & what would be best to use etc & of course different plants.... :D

[IMG] I am pleased you decided to join.. You can keep us up to date with photos of your garden in summer, as Barra usually posts in the spring.. [IMG]

[IMG] As you will see there is plenty to look at, see & do on here.. Always someone to give advice when we need it, so enjoy.... [IMG]
