 Is it (again) just me ... but all of a sudden today everything is in "wide screen" mode and I have to scroll backwards and forwards across to read the simplest thing.

I'm not having this problem on any other sites.

I had the same problem this afternoon, and had to go from side to side to read everything.
I thought it was just me, doing something wrong.

It is ok at the moment. It's not the first time it has happened.

Agree, Kandyfloss, it's okay with me now as well. I'm actually only using half screen (side by side) as I'm working on the other side at the moment. Glad it wasn't just me ... weird, huh?

I don't think I will ever get used to all this new fangled Technology, born in the wrong generation, nearly half a century ago....

I sometimes get that too- very odd! Fine at the moment. Did you solve the speed problem, Lof L?

I had wide screen earlier but now it's fine !!??

No, unfortunately the speed thing hasn't been resolved. I came into this thread very quickly but it can be very tedious going into one and then getting back to Today's Topics where I keep it "sitting" ... my computer's in the kitchen so I glance from time to time as I'm passing through. I still find it odd that it doesn't happen on other BBs I use but funnily enough, on one several people have been complaining lately about a speed problem .... which I haven't had !!!!

You may find, that the page you are viewing when you go 'Wide Screen' has a large picture on it.

I had a Wide Screen moment a few minutes ago, that is what causes it ;)

I have a laptop, which is having problems, and that is with no wide pictures being shown.

I never had the problem last week, but now have it at least once a day.

It seems to have happened since the site was closing down at 11pm,unless I am imagining it.
