remember folks clean your hand tools and grass cutters before putting them away for the winter it makes things alot easier in the spring when you want to use them again! ;)

Thanks for the tip u2bg. [IMG] I wish i had the time to do just that, but i shall be working through the winter, [IMG] all my customers find weekly work for me, especially vegs plots to dig over and weedy patches to clear [IMG] . Lawn cutting will be regular job leading up to xmas. My poor mower never has a holiday. [IMG] I won't tell my tools that yours will have a well earned rest, they might go on strike. [IMG]

no props peeps i like a sense of humour my post was for us poor scots that get it too wet and cold to do much gardening at this time off year lol i forget that some people are lucky enough to have it mild enough to garden most of the year i know there is still plenty of things to do during the winter months and the post was a tip so that your hand tools are ready to use when you need them but thanks for the replies.

Don't know what it's like with you, all those miles away in Livingston, but here in Falkirk our grass is still growing, as are the weeds, etc, etc, etc.....

the times they are a-changing! ;)

I've still got the flymo out, but I agree - far too wet and muddy!
