    Watch the whole vid, The guy is heading the right way for a very nasty cut. Also a premature wearing out of bar/sprocket/clutch/chain.

    Note use of the bar tip and his posture(severe risk of kickback). Even an improvised branch and rachet strap would turn that log, cut to quarter through and turn then finish the cut.

    Shame to see a good saw being so badly abused, no way id ever let anyone else lose with my husqy 575 at �£800 and this stihl is only marginaly cheaper.

    What is the point of the video?
    Its boring and of no interest really.
    I work with timber every day, but I felt most sorry for the tree, why did the moron cut it down and then chop it up in such short lengths. :confused:

    You can buy a new chainsaw PG, that tree probably took 40 years to grow. [​IMG]

    Its certainly an odd video.

    I guess the short lengths are for a wood burner although seing as its a pine theyll be spending hours cleaning tarr off the glass panel and risk chimmney fires if on an open!

    David, we watched a video for over 4 mins of a man cutting up a tree.. i was kinda hoping he would cut his legs off :eek:

    I couldn't work out whether he was proud of what he was doing or showing us is he is a complete and utter d*ckhead.
