Had a great day out yesterday at Alnwick castle, great for families. [IMG] plenty of entertainment, games for children, birds of prey.
Family tickets £22 or Adults £8.50 each well worth the money.

This is the dragon a game for the kids, they have to walk in mirrored maze, do a quiz to spell out the dragons name, then shout his name out and he comes alive, Great fun [IMG] [IMG]

Rosa ...we visited Alnwick Castle YEARS ago, about 25 !! ....no garden project then ..but I remember the stunning interior of the castle and the beautiful surroundings ...on the same trip we went to Bambrugh Castle, the white sands of that north eastern coast were stunning ........you've revived some memories there, thank you .... M-L

Alnwick castle is where Harry Potter is filmed ... I believe it is 'Hogwarts'

I would love to visit Alnwick Castle.
As a 'by the way', I was working for someone that lived in a Close called Alnwick Close, I MORI survey chap came up the the customer and asked 'Is this Alnwick Close', the customer then replied 'No, it's Allnwick Close' ...... Needless to say, I was chortling to myself :D
