    Hi,

Another cheery tomato question here. I've not grown them before [IMG] . I've got my tomatos all in one pot, but dont know if they are going to need seperating or not. The pot is big and was in another thread, i'll find the link in a bit. Each plant is about 5" as a guess. Will i need to seperate these into their own pots?

Yes, they need at least a 9-12 inch pot per plant ultimately (or 2 per growbag rather than the manufacturers 3 is better)or can be grown in the soil.
As they are 5" at the moment, pot them individually into a 3" pot for now and bury the stem up to the first set of true leaves - the stem will root up to here so increasing nutrient and water uptake and anchoring the plant more firmly. Tomatoes are greedy plants! When you pot them up for their final placing outside/in the greenhouse bury them up to the lowest leaves on the stem again for the same reasons. And always water the soil not the leaves to avoid leaf scorch and increase water uptake.
    Hope this helps.
