Peach Tree

    HI I have had a peach tree in the gerden for about three years, the first year it flowered but since then nothing has happened, I dont know much about fruit trees does anybody have any ideas what is going wrong?

    Is it healthy apart from that? Does it even look like it is going to flower? My first thought is that you are pretty far north for peaches unless you are in a very sheltered cosy spot.

    Hi,
    Are you certain that it's not even making blossom buds?The only thing I can think of,assuming that the tree is otherwise healthy , is blossom drop,but there has to be blossom for that to happen!
    Frost,is usually the culprit for seing off early blossom & blossom buds.
    Most peaches & nectarines need a site that's sunny(when there is some!) and sheltered from wind,but not somewhere that could form a frost pocket.

    It is in quite an exposed position which could be
    the problem and its not had any blossom buds either. It seems healthy otherwise. Its maybe just in the wrong place! many thanks
