Kiwi (again !!)

    Okay, my Kiwi I bought is really starting to shoot up, I have planted it in a large container, and have put 'twizzle sticks' for it to climb ..... Which it has already climbed nearly to the top.

    Question is, do I nip the growing tips out once it reaches the desired height? Or wrap the growing tip round and rounad the sticks?

    As I remember Nathan, they seem to grow very long shoots, but once they start to twine they get thiner. But I never grew them for fruit, so I guess you leave them alone and let them do their own thing, truth is I dont know.Dont know why I replied really. :D

    Mine are both in the ground and only one has flower buds on it but they seem to be all along the plant so I don't think it would hurt if you cut the top off.

    I do remember that they can bleed when cut in a similar way to grape vines.
