    Hi Sven,
Well I have my big book out & it is not proving that easy as the plants are still very small, but so far these are my thoughts on a couple...

#1.. Might be.. Chalice Vine Solandra grandiflora

#4.. Might be.. Scorpion weed Heliotropium indicum or Wild Clary

#1: Hmmm.... Not sure. The leafs are still different. Should be a plant from South Africa (hopefully). I hope it's not a Jamaican weed, ha ha ha!

#4: Not sure. Maybe. Maybe it's too early to tell. But this is for sure no South African plant, as it came up inside my Rucola area. That Heliotropium indicum you mention looks interesting. Let's see...

#8 is no Cucurbiteae at all..? Terrible, terrible...
Thought it might be cucumber, melon or yellow water melon...
Some have these little long thin things they use to twist around other things, not sure what's the English name is for them.
For now, I keep them in an area where half the day is shade and the other half is intensive Caribbean sun.

I have rucola, but they are deep purple. Thought it might be an indication of a strong "tan", meaning that the sun light is too intensive for them. I moved my Rucola into the same half-shady area and will observe now...

    Sure!

Hopefully South African are (if they aren't Jamaican weeds):
    #1, #2, #3

And regular plants (seeds or plants available here in Jamaica or for sure a Jamaican weed) are all others:
    #4, #5, #6, #7, #8
