Why are these odd colours, my miniture rose indoor bush. some flowers are peach and most are like a cream/green colour, very strange, can any member throw any light to this, the rose bush seems very healthy growing lovely then the roses appear this odd green shade.

I've come across completely different looking blossoms on a bush rose before, and was told it was a sport. In that case it was the same colour, but the "sport" was single petalled and had no scent, whereas the original had several layers of petals and had a strong scent.

I haven't seen what you've got, but a friend of mine sent me a pic a few weeks ago of a similar thing with a fuchsia. Don't know the answer - look forward to seeing what others come up with.

Light delivers energy in little packets called photons the amount of light falling on the plant varies enormously this can induce colour changes reds are greatly influenced by this they change from red to purple or blue also chemicals in the soil or compost can have the same effect

I suspect the roses were originally dyed and the new blooms are the true colour of the rose.

There's a lot of sharp practice going on.
