These companies overeach themselves promising stuff well in advance, but due to different weather conditions there can be set backs they don't seem to vector that in,I am also waiting for stuff from the same company it seems to be comming in dribs and drabs.

I also ordered Bat plants from T&M back last October time, but I was under the impession delivery was April.
I totally agree that money should not be taken in advance for plants that that are not to be sent immediately.
I ordered these for a friend, otherwise I wouldn't touch T&M with a barge pole.

Have had far too many non existant seeds in their seed packets, along with very inflated claims about plants, over the years.

Buyer beware, when it comes to T&M I reckon.

Strange thing this, mine arrived today, and the postie left them outside behind a plant pot as they wouldn't go through the letter box.
It was sleeting at the time.

I ordered some Brugmansia seeds from them, but when they grew they turned out to be daturas.

I emailed to complain and didn't get a reply, but noticed the following year their catalogue referred to them as daturas.

Walnut, the Royal Mail is appalling. I was once standing in my hall when a card came throgh the letter box of the 'sorry you weren't in' type. I threw open the door and shouted. The guy came back, grinned sheepishly and said 'You didn't answer your bell.' I pointed out that I had been standing next to it with the dog, who goes bonkers when the bell rings, so it can't have rung. 'I heard it' he said. He obviously has better ears than Ed because I would defy any human to hear my bell through 2 double insulated doors. He obviously just thought it would be quicker to put a card through and run.

I wouldn't order from T&M again due to the poor seed and young plant quality or Jungle seeds either. :(

Not tried Jungle seeds, plants, strongy, are they pretty bad aswell?
The delivery charges puts me off from buying from Jungle seeds.

Funny you should mention the card through the door walnut, when they delivered the bat plants I was out, I found a card saying the plants had been taken back to the depot, on the otherside of the card it said it was left behind a plant pot, and two of the packages had been forced through the letter box.

Hi Everyone Yes Wednesday Morning I was expecting some seeds by mail, I was in the Garden not a sound from Gypsy who can hear anyone from 10 miles away, and yes there was a card on the Mat from the much beloved Royal Mail Postman saying the package was at the Sorting Office I could collect It after 24 hours had Passed. On Thursday I was at the sorting Office at 8am sharp with a queue of 10 people behind me
I collected the Package opened It outside and Hey Presto We all had the same (Free low energy Light bulbs) :D

I've had excellent dealings with Chiltern Seeds, despite their name they are in Ulverston, Cumbria!! They have a super catalogue which came with my first order. Delivery was very quick (even to me here) ....sorry I can't help with your Royal Mail problems :D :D ...

You surprise me Strongy about Jungle seeds I usually have good service off them, as for t&m this last couple of years they have been going down hill, ordered a load of stuff for christmas presents within the last delivery time span it didn't make it due to them and the post office messing things up.
