Target date yesterday .... target achieved of 10st 3lbs and a bit! Total weight loss of fractionally under one stone. Inch loss, one inch off bust :( three inches off waist and two inches off hips. [IMG]

However, I am not giving up and leaving the fold as I want to go for another two inches off my waist and one more off the hips. If more weight comes off, that's a bonus.

I'll check in from time to time.

Good luck to the rest of you.

Sorry, missed the weigh on Monday, but as of last night I was still at 12st 7lb. [IMG]

Hopefully with all the extra gardening and hopefully some cycling, it will start to go down again of the next few weeks.

Reading all your comments about trying to lose weight - think of me trying to put on weight. Everywhere you look there are diets to lose weight, I have to look very carefully when buying yoghourts e.t.c. as most are fat free, even drinks seem to be aimed at losing weight. Us beanpoles are having to diet too.

Don't speak too soon.... until I was 50 I never weighed more than 8st except when pregnant. I ate what I liked [frequently doughnuts] and told my yoga classes smugly- 'all you need is 12 mins hard exercise everyday'.
Then I went into hospital and came out 6weeks later weighing nearly 11st. I've never been able to lose it. :( [IMG] :(

:D Oh well Liz at least you must have a womanly figure now!

I too have been a beanpole all my life, it runs in my family, but I have always been told, wait untill you turn 18 then you will put it on, then it was, wait until you have a baby, then when you turn 30 and so on, my mum is in her 60s now and she is as skinny as ever so I guess the same will be said for me, I would love a few curves in the same way others would like a few less!! My sympathies to those who have to diet (I would be hopeless at it), if it's any consolation I will probably have a heart attack without the incentive to eat healthily :D

Strangley being skinny almost led to me having an eating disorder :( , because people seem to think it's OK to make rude comments about you being skinny even though they would never do that to someone overweight or wearing glasses, I felt that people were watching to see how much I ate because they thought I was anorexic or somethng and it got to the point where I couldn't eat in public!

I hadnt noticed this before! I'd like to join, as I am constantly on the lookout for added motivation.

    I was 16.9 - now 12.4 and aiming for around 10stones.
I've lost the majority of it since August last year
    I keep a website here
    http://rowanrowan.bravehost.com

where i record my progress photos and stuff.

I am on a countdown as officially only 13.2lbs overweight - gardeneing has been great added exercise i have to say.

Hello mgn and welcome to the "club". I have achieved my goal as have a couple of others but I still "visit" occasionally. I am now just working on maintaining.

I am well impressed with your progress and no doubt you will achieve your goal.

I shall be looking in from time to time to watch your progress and give encouragement! [IMG]
