    Hi There,

in march some stupid woman opened her door (a bit too wide)whilst I was driving past. She admitted liability at the scene.
She asked me if it could be sorted out without insurance... I said yeah sure. (big mistake No.1)
After several phone calls, she has decided not too pay, so I have gone through my insurers.
They have gone through the ropes, her insurers won't pay and neither will she (however she still has one week left too respond).
If no response then it will go to court!!

Does anyone know if I can claim time off work for going to court too. I might as well try being greedy if it gets to that stage????

hi badsal 72 you can claim for anything as far as i know, my solicitor said to put all claims in while you are off work, but check with solicitor and your insurers.
have not heard anything about my claim only the garage and insrance company given the go ahead for our car to be repaired, still have to pay the £250 excess then get is back later.
good luck and put every claim in, let us know how you get on [IMG]

Thanks Rosa, thankfully no one was hurt (shaken not stirred).
If it goes to court, then I will have to take time off work. Thanks for the information.
