Not quite sure what you're tring to do here Kev.
Daffs tulips & crocus are all spring flowering and will not flower in the summer. In fact they die down in the summer and disappear under the ground.

    OOOOOH I see.
Got the wrong end of the stick there Kev.
Well the bulbs need to grow on for the next few months to build up a bulb for next year. I think I would, (presumably these are out side) empty the bulbs out of the pots when the flowers have finished and plant them in a spare part of the garden to finish off growing until they die down naturally in the summer. Dont be temted to plant them in some grotty area where noting grows.
They probably will not be as good, flower wise, next year as this year. I'd leave them to flower in the garden and buy new ones for the pots.

Buy yourself some mesh aquatic pots Kev, transfer the contents of your pots into them and then do as Pete suggests. In the Autumn lift the mesh pots and transfer the bulbs back, repotting in new compost. It works a treat as long as you remember where you plant the aquatic pots!
