greenhouse space

i have quite a bit of space in my greenhouse and was looking for ideas of things to grow now for maybe christmas time or sooner....any ideas

will it be heated over winter? If so I would grow Geraniums,

 

New Potatoes? Don't need to plant them until August.

 

As mentioned about ,will it be heated ?
You could grow Primula obconica and Primula malacoides also Schizanthus (butterfly flower) and Solanum capsicastrum (Christmas cherry) these don't required a lot of heat and can be grown from seed easily.

no it wont be heated and at the moment i have cuc's aubergines toms lettuce chillies and peppers like the potatoes idea also

In terms of Veg I grow Spuds for Xmas (a few bags, I bring them in once the foliage dies down so the frost doesn't get the tubers, and then just tip the bags out when we want them, they stay like New Potatoes through to the New Year at least like that).

Winter Lettuce (Winter Gem I think its calls), Lambs Lettuce (start that off early, its very slow to get going), Swiss Chard - romps away early in the year, and then I pull it out when I plant to Tomatoes out - and then in the Spring Spuds (plant in bags in February, keep in a cool place until the foliage is up, then move to greenhouse, but take care if there are heavy enough frosts that the greenhouse will fall to below 2C or so - you can bring the bags into the garage for the night if that happens) and Dwarf French Beans (they don't need insect pollination)

I haven't grown flowering things for the Winter for years ... but maybe I should!
