    :D

Even better that you've already got a drier :dbgrtmb:

Yes, you can use them from dried to add to chutneys, sauces, wines, allsorts really.

I've used 2 year old dried apple rings to make a new batch of chutney.

That reminds me, I ought to build a new solar drier before I need it this year.

I'll try to do that tommorow & stick a report in the fishy forragy forum:thumbsup:

its a pain but oh the eating is good - got the cherries ripe now, not as sweet or as many as last year cause the gales blew a lot of them off in May but they are ok to jam or make cherry brandy( hiccup) made 5 bottles last year

First a 'little man' starts stealing stuff from you, and then this Gale starts sucking off your cherries! Have you caught her in the act, yet? Or is this just your suspicions?

I certainly dont get much sleep KL, what with watching out for chicken thieves, little nameless men/women and this gale creature, stood under the cherry trees for hours yesterday catching the cherries as 'it' flung them off at me
