    Hello!

I have purchased the above on a bit of an impulse (only wanted a few packets of seeds) however given the price I thought I'd give it a go.

I know orchid generaly grow in bark, theses however state that they will survive in a border... so will normal soil/compost be ok do you think?

    Thanks

    Roger

    Hi Roger,[IMG]
Hard to actually find out much about them, but I did find this So I would think so.. I think I might leave them in pots though & plunge the pots into the border for the summer, because if we have more winters like this last one they may not survive...

Hi Roger. Sorry to bring this old post up but it came up in a search and I was just wondering if you'd received the orchid tubers yet and, if so, what they were like and how they're doing?

    Thanks,

    Iain

Yeah they arrived at the weekend.

Potted them up into some fine orchid compost and they are currently sat on the windowsill.

Curiosity got the better of me so i dug one up to see if it was growing, and it seems to be shooting from the bulb.

Cant wait for these to grow!
