            Oh yes:dbgrtmb:

Daughter Willow has aquired a taste for salted sunflower seeds from a Bulgarian schoolfriend who always has a packet for snacking.

Do you put them in the oven first?

Gorgeous sunflower ziggy, i have a small one about to flower under my bird feeder. I'll have a go next year at growing them properly as they are stunning! I always think they are looking at me and smiling - is that just me going mad or do others think that?? :heehee:

Lovely sunflower ther Zig; I grew a few clumped together last year just to fill in a gap and then left the seed heads for the birds, when the plant started to die back I just cut the flower head off and hung a couple on the fence and on the washing line. Great watching the 'tits' hanging upside down to get the seed and the green finches eating the ones hung on the fence as they weren't upside down :D :thumb:
