    Hi everyone,

I have been searching for a gardening forum and came across this site. It seems by far the friendliest and simplest that I have seen so I thought I would sign up and see how it goes.

I am a twenty-something living in the West Mids, in a lovely little pink house with my partner. When we moved in the garden was very overgrown but enormous. The lady who lived here before had employed a professional gardener until she passed away but as the house was left empty for some time before we moved in the garden had become its own and was rather unruly.

I have no idea on how to garden after living in university houses with patios and before that my parents house who's garden was essentially a football pitch for my brother. I am trying to learn and have been pottering away for a year now with some success but have lots left to do and am hoping to pick up some hints and tips with regards to the bits and pieces I have started to plant myself.

Thanks for having me and I look forward to getting to know a few of you better :)

    T

Hi Turtle, welcome to Gardeners Corner:D:thumbsup: The great thing about gardening is that you learn by experience and the mistakes we all make, but when the garden starts to form into the idea you had in your mind then it's a fantastic feeling.
We've got gardeners of all levels of experience and they're all a very friendly bunch and will be more than willing to answer any question you have.:D
