Oh Shiney so sad to read about your loss, a tear in my eye and a lump in my throat looking at your lovely pictures of Oscar, he was a gorgeous and very happy cat looking at his photos, so glad he found such lovely adoptive parents in you and Mrs Shiney, hugs.

Marley, Loli, Penny and Shiney, I am so sorry to hear about your darlings leaving you to go over the Rainbow Bridge. My heart goes out to you, I know how it is, having lost many wonderful furry friends over the years.

But they are there, as the poem says, waiting for us and we will see them when our time comes. In the meantime, we have all the memories tucked into that special place in our hearts that each and every one of them have.

My thoughts are with you all. xxxx

                Dear Shiney

I am so, so sorry about your lovely Oscar. I know from all your pictures that he had a very happy life with you and Mrs Shiney. He was clearly a cat who knew how to pick his owners (or staff, depending on your point of view).

PS When Winston Churchill handed Chartwell over to the National Trust, he asked that there should always be a marmalade cat in residence, as one had always been a fixture of his household (all the best people love cats). I think, when you've had time to grieve for gorgeous Oscar, you should follow a similar plan for Shineyland. There should always be a lovely black and white cat snoozing amongst the onions and keeping a watchful eye on the greenhouse.

                Lots of love

                Clare :kittykiss:

Shiney and Mrs. Shiney, so sad to hear you have lost Oscar. He will always be a big part of your lives and memories will make you smile. :)

He was a big part of ours on GC too, we loved the pictures you posted of his antics and slumberings around your garden.

                  Sleep tight Oscar. :kittykiss:

Monty is confused :(. He has been along three times this morning and stood with his head just inside the door of the greenhouse looking for Oscar.

Aaaw poor Monty's missing his mate too:(, we had the same thing in summer when we lost our lovely lab 'Fudge', we'd get up in the mornings to find Symba had pushed every door in the house open looking for him, went on for quite a while, the night we lost him he went round everyones room cuddling us all, something he's never done before, I'm usually his human, he just knew we were all upset, such a cutey.
