Buxus problems

    I have 2 pyramid shaped Buxus, one extremely healthy, the other however looks awful. I have been told its wind damage but nobody seems to be able to offer me advice as to whether or not it can be saved and if so how to go about it.

    I have attached a picture, any advice gratefully recieved

    It doesn't look like a pest or disease. It is probably hungry or as your friend said wind damage.
    Is it in a pot or the ground. Would you have a pic showing the whole plant?

    Hi hypnum, looking at your photo I wonder if it is Box Blight.. If you brush your hands over it do you get a fine white cloud come from it..?

      Hi Marley, I thought that at first aswell, but blight usually has dark spots in the dying leaves and accompanied by black streaks on the stem with dieback from the tips.
      This looks to be a more general bronzing of the leaf which I usually associated with it being in a pot too long and the fertilizer running out.

      Would this make sense?

      :scratch: Hmm I see what you are saying gardenman but there seems to be allot of white stuff on the leaves too.. Let us see what hypnum comes back with then... :D

      I bought it 3 months ago from garden centre and repotted it then into a bigger container, fed it phostrogen slow release tablets when it was repotted
