    Hi I think caspid bug or baby shield bugs, I get them and squish them if I can catch them they are quick.

    They are some smelly things that you don't want to walk on the berries and eat them afterwards.

    They are Shield Bugs ..Not really a problem ..

      It 's a shame to squish them as Dave says, they're not really a problem. Here's a site with lots of different ones Gardensafari Shield Bugs (with lots of pictures) and here's what the RHS has to say about the commonest.
      Green shield bugs / Royal Horticultural Society Apparently, they only start to become numerous towards the end of the season when the crops they feast on have mostly been harvested.

      So, just have a look at them, see how beautiful they really are, and leave them in peace.:WINK1:

          :sunny: The ID site is superb Chris, they may be the Stink Bug family but the markings are amazing on some of them... I am only really starting to see quite allot of them now in my garden on the beans as they are finishing, so less for them to eat.. Please don't squish them they do no harm except a little nibble of your beans here & there... :D
