    Hello,

I'm thinking of buying some tools for pruning trees and I need some advice. I want to cut back some large trees which are intruding a bit too far on my garden now. What would be the best tools for the job? I've had some Wolf secateurs before that I was very impressed with, and I found some more Wolf tools for tree care. I was looking at the RCM, RCVM, REM and REPM with a ZMV4 telescopic handle that I found here:

    Wolf Garten Tree-Care

Could someone give me some advice please? Weight of the tools is an issue, I don't want anything too heavy.

    Thanks

A nice pair of light, telescopic, aluminium loppers and decent pruning saw is all you need this side of a chainsaw!

I've got the Wolf Garten telescopic handle because I pick a lot of apples using their Fruit Picker attachment, and I've also their Professional Pruning Saw attachment and find with that I can cut through quite substantial branches without using a ladder or having to get close to dodgy fallen/broken branches that have hung up in a tree.

But a small bowsaw costing a few pounds can easily cut through fair size branches within reach.
