    Tree Peonies can be so erratic!!. A Daphne is on my must have list.

      Strongylodon I have quite a few different sorts of daphnes. They are all gorgeous.

      Scotcat, it is odd that we must go to your own blog to see your plants, but I can't even make the first one work.

      Yes Strongylodon Tree Peonies are beautiful but does take 5yrs to bloom then if we get gales loose all the blooms.

      Nice while they last.

      Kat, I have one in a pot, three years old (from seed) and about a foot high and no idea what colour it will be if and when it eventually flowers.:)

      Welcome aboard Brodie, I intend getting a D. Odora Marginata some day soon.:thumb:

      Strongylodon, if the daphne you have is deciduous, it is probably Daphne mezereum and the common colour is pink. That would tie in with the height at this age.

      Daphne odora 'aureo marginata' is one of the hardiest and very easy to grow. I have one actually in flower now.

      Brodie, I don't have a Daphne (yet) I was refering to the Tree Peony.:)
