This isn't exactly a GC problem but can anyone help please.

Immediately above GC's heading i have this recently appeared......

'To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has blocked this website from displaying content with security certificate errors. Click here for options.....'

The options are: Display Blocked Content
    What's the risk?
    Information Bar help

I can't do anything with it and I can't get rid of it either, any ideas would be welcome please. :)

It'll be one of the ads that's guilty. It'll have a link that is to a secure HTTP (https) address, but that address will not have a valid certificate.

That's my bet, and it would explain why its intermittent.

That was my thinking, clueless. Plus maybe, the AdBlock Plus. I had terrible trouble with that for certain sites like GC and BS so for them, I have switched it off.

Thanks everyone for your help. :) It's just typical, after days of this message being an irritation it's disappeared, well, for today anyway. I'll wait and see if it returns.

If you do a long post, it is worth hitting CTRL key plus A, to select all the text, then CTRL + C to copy it before clicking the post button. Then if for any of a number of potential reasons your post fails to make it across the treacherous ground of cyberspace, you can just click the back button, hit CTRL + V to paste your text back in, and have another go.

No, wasn't us Moonraker, we'd tell you if there was something wrong. Like Dave says, save things if you are doing a long post and hit preview post before going off to check things somewhere else.

Best thing is to open another window to get links etc.

Anyhoo, back to this security pop up, its really starting to get on my man breasts:mad:
