Members Locked out

We're not sure whats happening but we are getting e mails & Facebook reports of members being locked out of GC.

If you are locked out but can still read this without being logged on, please bear with us while we try to find out whats gone wrong.

 

This is just a suggestion, as I have no idea what the problem is, but for those that can't get in, try changing the address to either include the www, or if you already have, then take the www. off the front.

My theory is just that your session details live in a cookie, which is tied to the address (either gardenerscorner.co.uk or www.gardenerscorner.co.uk). If the cookie is tied to one and the site is redirecting to the other, it wont work.

 

Cheers for that suggestion Dave Us lot being gardeners need a bit of input from computer savvy members like yourself.

 

Just noticed, mine does NOT show the www

so its worth a try, to delete the www. from the address bar

 

catz said she has done the above and eaten all the cookies but it didnt do any good so we are having a party on GCF's wall on FB with no mods

 

I found a solution to this.. just typing www.gardenerscorner.co.uk won't work, but typing www.gardenerscorner.co.uk/forum does work.

 

Since Richard Robins did what he did last night (see forum problems) I had to put in the www. and log in
