    Hi All,

I am thinking of buying some sort of heated propagator, but have no idea where to start.

Fixed temp or variable temp ones?
    Size?
    Brand?
    Supplier?

    Any advice much appreciated.

    Thanks

How about making your own? It can be built to your own requiremnts at to size. It isn't difficult. If you think you have the ability ('course you have) to go and do it, lots of advice here. Cheers, Tony.

I started out with a sankey growarm and had no problems, but the one alot of people rave about are the greenhouse sensation vitopods

I have two Sankey 50w Plantmaster propagators that fit nicely under my two T5 growlights (when required) and this enables me to change the thermostats to suit whether they're receiving heat from the lights over one or both of them. More expensive that a DIY version with heating cable buried in sand, but I can easily move them between my study and greenhouse plus I can have different heat settings on each one. I think they may have been discontinued, but there's some left at Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fiskars-UK-...=outdoors&ie=UTF8&qid=1343380593&sr=1-1-spell

I bought mine from Jungleseeds as that was the cheapest place at the time. They have free delivery on £25+ spend at the moment which might make their Parasene propagators worth checking out. http://www.jungleseeds.com/HardwareShop/Propagators.htm
