    Hello

I have finally "finished" my garden (as in, hopefully there will never be anymore major changes - just the odd extra plant here and there!)

I have also done the front garden as well as the back.

    What do you guys think?

Here is the front, before and after:

And now the back, before and after:

        Thank you!

As you can see by the last picture, i have a few left waiting to plant.
A couple are still a bit babies, and i will keep them potted until they are a bit bigger. Three of the smallest tub ones are the climbing fuchsia's which will go on that center back wall trough to climb that trellis.

The front garden is full of Alpine trailers, inlcuding some lovely smelling Thyme - hoping they will cascade over the walls at the front of the house :)

This time next year your new garden will have settled itself and maturity will make it look a lot different. :dbgrtmb:

I looked at the pics....and then looked again, because it takes a second look just to absorb how much work and ideas you've put into your garden, Elizabeth!!! Looking at the "before" pic and the "after" pic shows the effort you've done. I love the way you've made a feature of the back wall with the wall biers and stand, with the trellis being a nice touch to "soften" the brick. You've got enough troughs and pots to keep you busy!!! The front garden with the gravel and the one specimen plant is spot on!:biggrin:

Thank you all so very much :)

It's all coming alive at the moment, I will end up taking more photos before the seasons through!

I still have the penstemons to plant (as you can see) and my lobelia cardinalis queen victoria - however a nasty gang of slugs has almost eaten the whole of one of them! So trying to bring it back a bit before planting out.. I will be gutted if i lose it, as the two red leafed plants will be a nice contrast at the back border against the wall, amoungst the penstemons.

My climbing fuchsias are coming along lovely too - still not ready for the back trough and trellis but fluffying up nicely! Can't wait to see them against that wall :)

I think you've got the "touch", Elizabeth, as you've made a really good job of everything in the garden. Congratulations!!, you can definitely call yourself a "Gardener":snork:

Great job, Elizabeth and clearly lots of work.

I adore how your "before" pix look comparatively lifeless and then your "after" pix come alive ... with your gorgeous dog!! :roflol: The effect is most striking with the front garden pix :heehee: :doggiesmz:
