      Hi there.

Great work so far, well done:blue thumb: I've just been looking at that back wall. I'm thinking a climber of some sort, but what? Any ideas guys?

      Made it :)
Bought the tub, bought the decking and then put it all together!
Didn't take very long at all.. It has a little hidden cupboard too for the recycle box.

My back wall trough has got my two pots on it, which will be planted next year - they are the "Lady in Black" climbing fuchsia, absolutely beautiful flower!

Yes, they are:) But I doubt they will cover THAT much of the wall, especially when restricted to being grown in a trough.

Although not really a climber, a Pyracantha would be a good choice, I think. Tough as nails, easy to keep under control, and can be 'shaped'. Plastered in lovely white flowers early on, followed by red berries. Just a thought:)

Apparently they have quite a large spread.
I'm gonna have a go and plant them up next year anyway, but i want to bring them in over the frost/snow period. Give them a chance to survive!

But thorny *ouchie* I planted a few (plus rosa rugosa) along my rear fence a) to deter human climbers, b) for their evergreen impact c) for the flowers and d) for the berries.

            And i'm off again!

Brought two more phlox to put at the back wall and another penestemon (white with lilac tips to the flowers). And i've gone and brought myself four heather's from Town (4 for £5!) all slightly different colours :)
Naughty me! Taken a photo of where i think i'll pop them, going to widen my border for it haha.

Also, can someone name my fuchsia? This one is a rescue one, from a deserted garden left to die (an old lady owned it but passed away, she was a friend and loved her garden so it was sad to see it all die away) that i dug up and planted and crossed my fingers. It's turned out really beautiful, with huge full flowers (ignore the photo being one that's dying down).
