Hi All

Thought i would let you all know i received a letter last week from Neath Port Talbot Local Authority regarding (Allotments

Every year they go around the ( Allotments ) within the borough i think there are several ( Allotments Sites) within the councils district any way my allotment was chosen as this years winner( on my site) it is only my first year because last year i was in no position to even think about a prize there are 38 allotments on this site in total.

The prize is £20 plus a trophy i have to collect this on Dec 8th from the Mayor of the borough and on that day they will announce the best allotment out of the seven sites within the borough if one wins this as well the prize would be £100 and another trophy so fingers crossed agh.

Its been approx 18 months to get my allotment to a decent standard and some hard work but very rewarding will let you all know if i should get the other prize for the best allotment out of the 7 sites.

 

Congratulations. Are we going to see some pics of the winning (your) allotment? And maybe some notes about what you did to it?

Yea they will be taking photos so i will put something on for anyone who would like to see them i will also put some on showing the allotment when i received it.

 

Well done to you sir! Ive had my allotment for over a year now and i'm def not going to win any prizes lol
