I am new to gardeners corner so just thought I would introduce myself. I have a medium-size garden perhaps 200' x 200'. I grow veg, have a small pool and a small greenhouse. I live in far sw of Cornwall and grow lots of tender plants like blue salvias, cannas, choc cosmos, agastaches,, etc. and fond of hellebores, astrantias, astilbes, grasses, etc.,and always looking for new plants....e.g. Anemone wild swan now growing beautifully in my garden. Bit of a perfectionist too. Grow organically as much as possible.

:sign0016: Nice to make your (formal) acquaintance Verdun. I know there are some cracking camellia nurseries down your way. Mine are budding up nicely now - have you got any?

Hello Jenny. I do have a couple of camellias but, unusually for Cornwall, my soil is not really acid enough for rhododendrons, erc. And I can just get away with camellias. I'm on the coast so sandy and neutral, soil. Yes we have loads of nurseries down here. This morning, so far, it's sunny, blue skies, no wind and warm. My dog is imploring me to take him to the beach as I write this
