Thats too much pressure Joolz :snork: ..but I'm sure eventually I'll have some good news.

Now I suspect, that if things stay as they are, the Met office could conceivably issue a state of emergency warning, if indeed the 50cm of snow forecast for parts of Northern England/North Midlands comes off.

To have a Level 3 warning at this point is alarming.

A sunny but cold day today, 4C. Gale force winds are promised for tomorrow evening.

The Ronaldsway forecast is not looking too bad for the next week and a half. The lowest temperature expected on Saturday at 4C and rain expected. Following that it will be mainly dry and sunny........We'll see! Living on this island does have it's bonuses from time to time. :)

Bloody weather!! This is the first year I have brought a lot of plants and grown lots of things, and was looking forward to getting them out, and now I can't! I had visions of a really nice garden, chock bang full of beautiful flowers and big exotic plants. At this rate by the time they get out, they won't have much time to fill out before weather turns again:wallbanging:

It's like I'm living on a different planet! It's been a lovely few days, although it rained on Saturday, Sunday onwards has been glorious. Of course I've booked next week off so that's when the west country will have its rain I'm sure!

Grey, dull, damp and currently 1'c
Forecast is for upto 10cm of snow tomorrow!
Hope not got a funeral at 2pm. But the ironic thing is that the person was born in a blizzard!

Don't worry about the weather. As ARMANDII has said, the weather is always changeable and is part of the joy of gardening in this country. :blue thumb:
The plants and gardens will soon catch up.

We regularly get cold snaps and snow through March and even into April. These photos were taken in Shineyland on April 6th 2008

I think we just get a little frustrated when we want to get on in the garden and can't! :)
