Can someone help me before I tear all my hair out! I'm looking for a water lily with yellow flowers for my new pond, approx 2 feet deep, 3ft wide and 5ft long (it's an irregular shape so hard to work out exact surface area).

I used to have a lovely mexicana but I can't seem to find one anywhere now.

I've looked at helvola but will that be *too* small? The information on others varies wildly from 'suitable for a small pond' to 'needs to be in a lake' so I have no idea what to believe.

I have pots and aquatic compost so can easily order a bare root plant online.

Can anyone recommend a variety please? :ThankYou:
