It's a gonna !!!! is it ?

I have two Victoria Plum Trees....at least 30 years old....and this looks like siver leaf to me...if so looks like i'll lose the other one two what do you think?

 

Hard to tell from the photo as the leaf damage isn't clear.
Even if it is silver leaf, there's no certainty that it will infect the other tree if you are careful about pruning. It could also be 'false silver leaf.

Thanks Dave....it's looking sadder by the day but the other tree looks fine.... i cut off one dead looking branch but couldn't see a definate discolouring down the center , will have a another look tomorrow.....
