    :new: My name's Jess, I'm 58 going on 18 and I live in East London where I have a very small garden which doubles as the latrine of choice for the local cat and fox population. I also have window boxes and tubs which someone thinks is a cheaper source of plants than B&Q!!

    I'm a totally clueless but enthusiastic gardener, my usual ploy is to plant loads and loads of seeds in a couple of those 4 shelf plant house things (love them!). I love potting them on and then planting them around the garden and fighting to protect them from snails, cats, foxes and thieves........................ It's labour intensive but I love watching things grow.

    Looking forward to getting some good tips from people who actually know what they're doing!!
