All looking very lovely NA. I reckon your birds would boil if they attempted to bathe in the granite bowl as I imagine your temperature is higher than ours at the moment,
what had you thought of planting to cascade down over the wall?

Our weather is dry and sunny and around 30c. (normal for this time of year) So not too different to the U.K at the moment. Needless to say my clay soil has turned itself into an impenetrable terracotta pot, :frown: so no weeding possible.
For the wall planting I thought of using Aubrietta and Cerastium tomentosum. both have survived well here. I squished a bit of the later in between my dry stone wall in the other garden and to my surprise it flourished. :dbgrtmb:

It's come on really well Mandy. :dbgrtmb: Aubrieta is always good to put on a display especially when it cascades over a wall.

Funny that, I was just thinking a few days ago I hadn't seen any updates then you posted. It's looking really really good. Any chance of some photos showing the house as a backdrop? or am I being cheeky? Love to see the gardens in the context of the house.
Keep up the good work, looks like you've put some hard graft into that!

Hi GG. Both my rockeries are in front of our barn, which is next to the house.
The barn looks a bit of a mess as we are still doing renovations on both buildings. Hence the rubble you can see in the background in most of the photos.
