    Hi,

Does anyone have any suggestions for a pink flowered weeping cherry that can be planted near to a building? It's a young people's community project, and they want a pink flowered tree, but only have a very small patch of land to play with, and it is near to the communtiy house, so it has be be a small tree, and not have roots that will life foundations. Crab apples are out because of fruit being used potentially as missiles!!!

any ideas on weeping cherries, or any other trees?

    cheers

Hi, Thanks, I checked up on the web page you posted, and it looks good, I am checking with the garden centre to see if the tree is fully hardy, as it has to go on a Welsh valley hilly village. Will post the result,

    cheers

Thanks all for your help. In the end, I got some advice, and planted a pink double flowered hawthorn. I thought it might be hardier than the cherry, and better for biodiversity. But I still really like the cherries, and will maybe have a go next time. Also the sites I checked were out of stock this year. Never mind. cheers all.
