My friend has ordered an Ilford Weeping Cherry tree to go in the bed in the centre of her front lawn. I was just gonna stick it straight in but I've been told to plant it in a large pot in the ground as they send out runners?? Is this true or would the tree be better off not in a pot. Thanks

That explains why I`ve never heard of it.:gnthb::D:D I`d plant it straight in the ground, if it`s not grafted on a rootstock, any suckers could be potted up.:lollol::gnthb:
