I just realised that although I joined months ago and have even posted on the forums I've never introduced myself - how roood!

I've been a bit of an ad hoc gardener for years but having moved to France a couple of years ago I now have a decent sized garden and the time to work on it accompanied by my supervisor Tiffy, a little old staffy/JRT cross and my security guard Kai, a GSD. No rabbits get near my plants while they're around and I always have help with digging - even if it's not exactly where I'd planned to dig lol! I'm in northern France so have a similar climate to southern England.

I look forward to getting to know you all and getting lots of ideas and advice on improving my gardening skills.

    Eve

Thank you all for your welcomes. I'm ashamed to say I'm not much of a photographer but here's a few I have taken. Will raid my OH's pc as he's probably got a lot more.

Thanks for showing us around Eve. We are all a bit nosey and love to see what others grow. Looks a tidy sized garden you have there - lots of space for Tiffy and Kai to roam . I hope your neighbours( are they French?) appreciate your English style. The border looks very colourful....:spinning:,
Hesdin is a nice town - I think you have a market there don't you ?

Thanks Jenny. Yes, Hesdin has a market every Thursday morning. I live in a little village about 10 minutes drive from there and most of my neighbours are French. They also are very nosy and love to see what I'm doing with the garden. Quite often get people out for a walk stopping and gaping over the gate - but in a nice way, everyone is very friendly here. I do give concession to the locals and have marigolds and geraniums in window boxes out the front!
