Hi Woo, I hope you get the situation resolved quickly.
I just had a look at the screen shot you posted and noted that the seller has 95.3% positive feedback but that's based on just 205 transactions which isn't particularly good.
It's always worthwhile having a very good look at the details of feedback when buying on Ebay. If you look at some sellers who have sold thousands of items with say 98% positive feedback that's quite a significant number of less than satisfied buyers.
The only time I've raised a dispute was a couple of months ago when an item advertised as being in London turned out to be in Hong Kong and hadn't arrived after a week. I left negative feedback and the seller then offered me £5 into my Paypal account if I'd withdraw the feedback!!

Good advice Dave and I'm sure Woo did that. Trouble is that seller had near 100% until a few days ago and looked a pretty good bet. Something bad has happened to him/her as there are now 6 negatives and only one positive since 7th Jan.

No Woo, I'm afraid you'll not be getting your lens going by all those comments. It does make you wonder why someone who is a perfect ebayer suddenly goes off the rails. Anything could have happened from being flooded out, lost power, medical emergency, lost broadband - I'm making excuses for them but these things do happen. At least you'll get your money back, paypal are good like that. You've just lost a little time.

London is a big area but with your eyes you might be able to spot the rotter, look for an angry crowd of photographers demanding their money back :)

That +ve feedback left on 8th Jan was for an item purchased on 28th Nov.

What I do find odd is that the +ve feedback for the IPhone/Pod Dock left on 2nd Jan was for an item purchased on 25th December (two days after WiseOwl bought the lens) so that £12.50 dock bought later than the lens appears to have been sent out, but not a £160 lens bought 2 days earlier.

Looking back through all that seller's previous sales (the ones they've got feedback for), there appears to have sudden surge in expensive lenses at the end of December, and that's something what would make me a bit suspicious about a seller.

I've done some number crunching and that seller:

                    1) Sold approx. £1,300's worth of stuff in the 2 years before 23rd December 2013 (based on seller feedback), so about £1,100 per annum.

                    2) Sold around £1,500's worth of stuff over the 4 days between 23rd Dec 2013 and 26th Dec 2013.

                    All costs excluding P&P.

I thought that was the whole purpose of buying from ebay. I 'number crunch' everything, it was my job before I retired.
