When is a clock not a clock................

..............when it's a spice cupboard.

I got this old clock for about 18 euros a few years ago. It was full of woodworm and the veneer was coming off.
I intended to restore it, but I later inherited a better antique clock. I was in need off a spice cupboard and decided to turn the old clock into something I could use.

OH kindly replaced the glass and put the shelves in it.
I didn't put the spindles back as I thought it too fussy.



Still need to make labels for the jars too.

My sister has one of those. Actually it's one she inherited from from grandfather.
He collected and repaired clocks and musical boxes. (and other curios.) His house was completely covered with them. You wouldn't want to be there on the hour!
