Hello Ladies and Gents, I'm Neil and I live down here in the wonderful county of Cornwall.

I would consider myself a novice gardener even though I have grown bits and bobs over the years but thought I would join this great forum, as really, I don't know that much.

My back garden used to have an old caravan in it for storage until a few weeks ago when we lost it in a fire caused by a dodgy heater. Now that it is cleared up I have a patch of land which is about 25 x 14 feet doing nothing. I have always wanted a veg patch in the garden, even though its facing just off North. We do get the sun there, usually two thirds of it can get really warm at times so I thought I would bite the bullet and sew the seeds of my new veg garden.

No doubt I will have plenty of questions but for now I will continue reading some of the old posts as I have learnt quite a bit from them already.

    All the best everybody

    Neil

Welcome Neil, if you could post a couple of pics, it would give members an idea of your plot.

Thankyou to you all for the amazing welcome, it really is appreciated.

I will post a couple of pics up later today as I have to take the kids out in a bit and buy their wonderful mum some Mother's Day gifts. I think I will put them in a new post so that I can keep all my stuff together and have some sort of a log on what I am/will be doing.

      Thanks again for the welcome.

      Cheers Neil
