    Turf is down!!!!! Yes!!! Planted a few more plants....went a bit OTT I think but never mind : )

        That looks a whole lot better! Doesn't it make a difference when the lawn goes down. :)

              The trees look good Rich but they are very close to your fence. The over all height and spread of the Magnolia is 4 x 4 metres. Willows can be rampant, particularly with root spread and most trees will need a bigger area than you've given them to grow.

              Thank you sheal. The willow I was planning on just cutting it back every year so it doesn't get to big....do you think it would be ok on that basis?

              If I move the magnolia closer to the front of the border do you think that would be ok? I'm hoping it will grow above the fence and then spread out.....am I being unrealistic?
