    Hello, I stumbled upon this site whilst googling fuchsias in winter, new to gardening, in a Terrace with a small front garden with just a bed and a walled back garden, I want to make it look pretty for summer, also aircrew so it needs to be able to survive if away on a trip if I can't get my neighbours to water....

    Which way do your gardens face? I.e. how much direct sunlight do they get?

    I like the idea of the walled garden at the back.

    As for low maintenance for when you're away, there's plenty, but it all depends on size (of plant and of garden), soil conditions, sunlight, your preferences etc.
