Very Slow Forum

    Does anyone else have to wait ages to open this forum if you stay logged in? Though this site opens up as quickly as any others if you are not already logged in.

    Unlike any other Forum I visit, and it makes no difference if I use IE, Firefox or Chrome, I still have to wait some 30 seconds for it to display, and a further 30 seconds to visit another page. I admit my Broadband here in Hastings, UK is only just over 3 Mbps, but I am using 64 bit Windows 7.

    Yes, exactly as you say and according to Sky last week my broadband is running at 7 Mbps so I don't think that is the problem.

      Ha! 30 seconds I dream of 30 seconds to load a page, I can only manage 35 and that's with the hamster going flat out. Perhaps I need to get a gerbil.
