Netting cage.

Hi All,

The frames that I made out of my old blow away greenhouse frame has given up. I am going to make new ones from timber so that I can staple the netting to it. What height should I make it? I was thinking 3 ft. They will be for the brassica bed to keep butterfly's out and root bed to keep squirrels out.

our nets are about 2 foot and the sprouts are getting a bit close so im looking at moving up to 3 foot

 

I have made my brassica frame 3'6" (42 inches) tall to accommodate both sprouts and purple/white sprouting broccoli.

I use water-pipe hoops, and scaffolder's debris netting. Height is determined by width of the roll, and width of the bed

My beds are 4' wide, the roll is 3M wide, so that's

(3 metres - 4 feet) / 2 in feet =

which Mr Google says is "2 feet 11 1/16 inches"
