Any ideas? The leaves started going brown and yellow and dropping off. It was ok until a week ago. Similar markings now on the Fuscia and Scabiosa too.

I've not used any feeds or pesticides, just normal watering. Compost in pots is moist and well drained.

Any treatment suggestions and do the fallen Rose leaves need to be burned?

      Hiya Scorpio...

Yes the Rose leaves definitely need getting rid of and it may help to spray the plant with a fungicide :blue thumb:

Would the same fungicide that use on the Honeysuckle be ok? Can't remember what it's called but i use it for the white powdery leaves. Come to think of it, that may be a mildewcide.

Yes its been neglected for quite awhile with the amount of Black spot on the leaves;) only joking my friend(but there is many a true word said in jest):heehee:

Black spot is the most serious disease of roses. It is caused by a fungus, Diplocarpon rosae,

Rose Black Spot isn't helped by lots of rain and warm humid weather and watering the Rose from above instead of watering at the base of the rose,
The spores lay in soil all winter, please remove all leaves very carefully and dispose of them in a bin bag, please don't leave any on the ground or put them on a compost heap.,Please clean any tools that have been in contact with your beautiful Rose even your hands just to be on the safe side,it looks like a lovely Yellow bloom,do you know the name of it,and if you need any more advice just ask:smile:
