Our police vehicles in the U.K. are white with yellow and blue chequered stripe on the lower half. The yellow is luminous. If it`s not police could be a paramedic. Similar design.

Great idea, especially if the fencer is on Livestock Mode. :heehee:

I have windows across the front, so not enough wall to attach a half moon.

I know, but that looks like a yank video.
Cars driving on the "wrong" side. :)

        Not to worry.
Even if it was the cops, by the time they drive past, the reprobates have already committed the crime and are casually walking down the road so doubt that they would have been caught red handed.

Crime committed at offset 0:16 and yellow car only goes past at 0:23.

However, just before offset 0:12, look at the top left, where there is a side road, a car stops there, and that car looks a lot like a typical American police car.

I wouldn't worry what mode it's in 9000 volts is good enough to give them a shock of a life time

That is so disheartening! So sorry to hear about it: unfortunately, not the first time (or the last) that baskets have been reported stolen.

Love the cable tie idea :dbgrtmb:

When I bought my little car, the garage had cable tied the hubs - they are still there (despite the fact I moved area) :heehee:

            That's true.

Blackbirds stole all the holly berries from my painstakingly made (literally) holly wreaths (watching them through the door viewer in the middle of the wreath was really scary).

Jackdaws vandalised my Spring hanging baskets to use the liner for nesting material.

When my summer baskets go up with about 25 New Guinea Bizzy Lizzies in each one (should have gone out weeks ago, but T&M delayed deliveries is another story) they'll be secured with bolted chains to the basket brackets (fixed to the brickwork with 100mm frame fixers).

That caused similar confusion in Cheech & Chong's (Up in Smoke) immortal words "Hey, man, it was only an ambulance!"

One thing I was going to do was to get Mr Jane to wire up a small alarm for mine with a switch contact that would be held down by the weight of the basket. Once the basket was removed the switch would be thrown and the alarm would go off.

But I can't be bothered to water hanging baskets, so it never got made.
