@shiney glad to hear the back is improving.

What a gorgeous one you have there, and the cat is quite cute too....... :heehee:

Yes, great news. It is a nice feeling to know that I have made an impression in such a short time, only downside is it leaves little room for improvement that is not expected if you get what I mean. I have been called 'fastidious' and 'methodical', been called worse

          Aloha everyone,

My back and neck are a little bit easier :blue thumb:. I'll see if there's any gentle gardening I can get done. There's harvesting to do and I may pick some beans (French and runners), which will take about an hour, and there are blackberries and plums to pick. I'm not sure I can pick all the blackberries as that will mean stretching across the bushes but I'll get the easy ones. The plums are another matter as I'll only pick those within easy reach - no climbing ladders!

I think I'll have to pop into to town to buy some wasp killer. I was hoping to leave the wasp nest alone as they have just as much right as the bees to be in the garden and they're right down at the bottom of the garden. Unfortunately, they are living in the ground under the golden plum tree (the ones that are ripening now) and my friend, who used to be a pest controller, said they will become too dangerous.

As they are under the plum tree they will certainly start eating the plums and they easily become drunk from the ripe fruit. Apparently, when they become drunk they also become dangerous and can attack with no reason (where have I heard that before? :heehee:).

No sign of rain here until tomorrow.

I wonder how much attention and love Sarafi gets at home. He certainly gets it from Mrs Shiney :cat-kittyandsmiley:.

Keep well and have a great day

          Aloha!

            Morning everyone,

Steve, well done on being recognised for your efforts. Can only be good.

Loli, so glad things have been less hot for you the last couple of days. Be nice to have the weekend to yourself.

Shiney, Lovely photos of Mrs. S and Sarafi. He has come a long way hasn't he. She is marvellous how all critters love her. That is probably why the crow keeps knocking on the windows! Do take it steady in the garden today and yes, think you must get rid of that wasps nest it is too close for comfort.

WOO, another lovely sunrise. Wise Owl or not do be careful shifting concrete etc. don't want you knocked up as well. Take care.

Have a lovely day all, God bless. :wub2:

                    Aloha everyone,

I'm still improving but not quite got to the :hapydancsmil:stage.

I'll still be taking it easy today but my do some more harvesting. Yesterday I picked loads of runners, Frenchies, courgettes and a big bowl full of plums (being careful not to upset the wasps - will do the wasp powder after 9 p.m. tonight when they're all in bed). Today I shall pick some more beans and go Blackberrying at the bottom of the garden.

                    @Zigs NaOH? :scratch: :roflol:

Keep well and don't get too caustic :heehee:

Art'noon all, hope you are well.

@shiney , take it easy with that back mate.

@Lolimac , yep my Saturday in. Had loads to catch up from yesterday, those Area Managers are just so demanding, show us this, show us that. Still a nice steak lunch made up for it. Thankfully Saturdays are quiet and I got cleared up by 10am, so the last hour was a breeze.

Started chucking it down just as I got home, and is on and off right now, so looks like no building today, weather looks good for tomorrow though :blue thumb:

Have a great rest of the day.
