Zigs when you have fixed the gate make sure that you are on the inside ,cos if you were on the outside ,you might not be able to get to the inside and then you would be stuck on the outside looking inside:heehee:

        Morning everyone,

Its a little cooler here today, and we didn't get much rain, so I need to do some watering later, and am hoping to get the lawn cut too.

I was supposed to head down to Toronto but that's now tomorrow, so like I said I will be cutting the lawn and washing the truck.

Off to throw some laundry into the dryer.....so enjoy your day all.

Morning all, hope you are well.

I went to work yesterday, was very tired when I got home. Feel much better now.

@shiney Ella was fine, it was in avoiding stepping on her that made me slip :cat-kittyandsmiley:

            Have a great day.

                Aloha everyone,

After a little rain yesterday we have a bright sunny morning.

I'm beginning to get really peed off with the trouble with my foot . Don't read the next two paragraphs if you don't want the gory details :heehee:.

It started the day after Open Day and the chiropodist thought it was contact dermatitis caused by having been working in my boots for 14 hours a day for the three days prior to Open Day. The underside of my foot came up in patches that were full of puss. After a few weeks of them drying up and cracking, then going bad again and following instructions for their care, Mrs Shiney started treating me for it.

It started clearing up quite a bit and looked quite hopeful. Unfortunately it has started cracking up again with big scabs and is not only a bit painful but is very itchy. We're treating it with something else now. It's a real nuisance as I find it extremely uncomfortable to walk much in one go and haven't had a proper walk for a couple of months. Yesterday I could only mow one lawn before it became too uncomfortable!

My back is a lot better now and I hope to go and dig and collect a load of horse manure in the next few days. We've got to wait until we're told when it's convenient to go.

In the meantime I'm busy organising a big bridge tournament. I've got about four hours of boring computer work to do today , sending out loads of publicity for it. I think I'll do some cooking to cheer myself up :)

                Have a great day

                Aloha!

                      Good Morning everyone,

Shiney, that sounds horribly uncomfortable, I hope you can do something with it. Perhaps bathe it regularly in condis crystals (Pomanganate of Potash) very good for skin conditions and ulcers etc.

WOO, lovely sunrise again. Thank you.

Steve, glad you made it through the day yesterday, today should be easier.

Penny, take it easy, you have all day!

Loli, hope your mum's feeling better today. Take care.

Got Doctor's appointment just after 9 so won't be trying out my scooter until after I come back but that will be after I go through all the assembly details again to check I haven't missed anything. I don't want it falling apart as I get down the road. Have had it on charge all night.
Well must go and take Amber for a walk. Mosquito bites all over me. Itching like mad. Have a good day all, God bless. :wub2:

                        Good morning everyone,

Shiney,Have you tried surgical spirit on your foot? my brother always swore by it when he did a lot walking. It must be really uncomfortable and couldn't be in a worse place.Hope it feels easier soon:grphg:

                        Woo..Another beautiful picture:love30::dbgrtmb:

Steve...Hope you're feeling OK today, take it easy if you can:dbgrtmb:

Moyra...Hope all goes well at the Doctors and with the test drive:thumbsup:

Well after a fraught couple of days Mum is on the mend slowly but surely:dancy:...after having her bloods taken on Tuesday morning come the evening she had a call from the medical centre to say her Potassium levels had dropped significantly ,they'd left a prescription to be picked up so went and got it and had to trawl umpteen late night chemists to get it filled ,turns out no one stocks it so had to be ordered but the pharmacist was very helpful and gave us an alternative which is working a treat:thumbsup: more blood tests next week to check it's heading in the right direction:fingers crossed:

Had a couple of really heavy downpours before tea yesterday,so much so the butts are full again:yes:..The sun is beating down again this morning and looking good:dbgrtmb:

Wishing everyone well, enjoy your day and take care:SUNsmile:

                          Morning all!
Indulging in lying in bed with a cuppa, listening to a blackbird and thrush singing ....... Lovely!
Day off today going to chill and rid myself of the effects of working in heat!
Baking at work for past few weeks, been like running in a sauna!
Work in an area with limited daylight so feel like a battery hen. Going for a saunter on the moor to get some air then, may have to force myself to the garden centre this afternoon, have a voucher burning hole in me pocket!
Hope you all have a happy and safe day!
Love reading the thread, although I don't always have time to contribute, it's nice to be around caring and positive folk to start the day!

Yes, we tried that (didn't do anything), are now using T-Tree which is helping and testing Lamasil cream on one area to compare results. If it doesn't start clearing by next week I'll have to try the last resort - going to the doctor! :hate-shocked: :heehee:
